Movement as Medicine

"Yoga is a light, which once lit, will never dim. The better your practice, the brighter the flame." ~B.K.S. Iyengar

Movement as Medicine

Movement is one of the oldest forms of healing. Before modern medicine, before diagnosis and prescription, humans moved to process, to pray, to release, and to remember who they were.

This offering is rooted in that same understanding. Whether you are working through grief, navigating transition, healing your nervous system, or simply longing to feel at home in yourself again, there is a practice here for you.

Yin Yoga

Yin works with the deeper connective tissues of the body, the fascia, joints, and ligaments, through long held passive postures. Where most movement asks you to push, Yin asks you to soften.

This practice is deeply meditative and profoundly releasing. It is especially supportive for those carrying chronic tension, emotional weight, or anyone who needs permission to slow down. Yin pairs beautifully with Reiki and integration work.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga is rest as a radical act. Using props to fully support the body, each posture is held long enough for the nervous system to shift out of fight or flight and into genuine restoration.

This practice is ideal for burnout, adrenal fatigue, anxiety, grief, and recovery. If your body has been running on empty, Restorative is where you begin to fill back up.

Hatha Yoga

Hatha is the foundation of most modern yoga. It brings together physical posture, breath work, and focused awareness to create balance between strength and surrender.

Sessions are thoughtful and intentional, building a practice that is sustainable, accessible, and deeply connected to how you actually feel on any given day.

Iyengar Yoga

Iyengar is a precise and alignment focused practice that uses props to bring every body into correct and safe positioning. No two bodies are the same and Iyengar honors that completely.

This practice is especially powerful for those healing from injury, working with chronic pain, or anyone who wants to truly understand what their body is doing and why. Iyengar changed the way yoga is taught and its principles run through everything offered here.

Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini is unlike anything else. It works with breath, movement, sound, and meditation to move energy through the body and activate your highest awareness.

Kriyas, mantras, and breathwork combine to create experiences that can be simultaneously challenging and profoundly awakening. This practice is for those ready to go beyond the physical and into the energetic and spiritual dimensions of yoga.

Private Virtual Sessions

One on one sessions designed entirely around you. We begin with a conversation about where you are, what your body needs, and what you are moving through. From there your practice is built with intention and care.

Available from anywhere in the world.

Private In Person Sessions

Available when Moonbeam Medicine is in your area. Sessions are held outside in nature when possible, letting the land become part of the practice itself.

Group Classes

Held virtually and at select locations during my travels. Group classes bring the power of collective breath and movement into one shared space. Follow along on Instagram to know when I am coming to your area.

Deepen Your Experience

Movement sessions can be paired with Reiki energy work or sacred medicine integration support for a more ceremonial and complete healing experience. These combinations are especially powerful for those moving through deep transition or intentional healing work.
